International students are currently under-represented in the UK. We urgently need funds to continue our research and advocacy work as we continue to ask for a fair education in the UK for international students.
Your donation allows us to continue supporting international students and working towards them getting a fair education in the UK.
To continue to support students in the UK we need to raise at least £500 per month. The funds will go towards the following:
- Research – We need to access research material which can incur costs of accessing documents and other research material.
- Raising awareness - We aim to raise awareness of the plight of international students through events, meetings with MPs, and publications including letters, promotional materials and policy papers.
- Support – We meet with international students to provide help and support.
- Travel - reimburse volunteer travel and lunch expenses.
If we can raise at least £1000 per month we can do much more including:
- Sending press releases to journalists and newspapers.
- Hold teleconferences to get international & EU help with this issue.
- Liaise with affected international students who are now overseas.
- Produce more educational content to explain about the benefits of work experience to students’ education.
- Create a video campaign recording international students’ stories so you hear direct from students the personal stories of the human tragedy of not finishing their education after paying hundreds of thousands of pounds (sterling)
- Create hard copy reports for distribution to policy makers & stake holders.
There is an URGENT need to clearly demonstrate how and why the failure to deliver Higher Education to international students is also negatively affecting British students.
We welcome your donations.
